Born into a musical family, Kevin studied the cello with his mother at a young age and later with Ming-Yao Sheng. He enjoys rich performance experience as both a soloist and an orchestral cellist, having played with the University of Toronto Concert Orchestra, NYCO Symphony Orchestra and the Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently double majoring in music and architecture, Kevin is also actively involved in the studies of voice and composition.
